HERE ARE SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
More Than 6
CAN WE TAKE MORE THAN 6 GUESTS ON 1 BOAT?
We can only take 6 guests per boat as per Coast Guard Regulation. Infants, Toddlers and anyone with a heartbeat counts as 1 guest. If you show up with more than 6 guests the day of excursion we will not take you out and no refund will be issued.
WHAT OPTIONS DO WE HAVE IF WE HAVE MORE THAN 6 GUESTS IN OUR PARTY?
We can take larger parties (up to 18 people) on multiple boats. All boats would be private, stay together the whole time, and have the same amenities offered on all of our excursions. All boats will have a USCG Licensed Captain during the excursion.
2 Boats can accommodate 7-12 guests and 3 Boats can accommodate 13-18 guests
DO WE HAVE A BATHROOM ON THE BOAT?
We do not have bathrooms on our boats. If an emergency should arise then we make a stop at a local marina or restaurant on the water.
WHERE IS THE PICK UP LOCATION FOR AMI ESCAPES
We pick up on the south side of Anna Maria Island across the street from Coquina Beach. This location is a Public Boat Ramp that has parking and overflow parking across the street. You can come by car, golf cart and the island trolley also makes a stop there. The address for North Coquina Boat Ramp is 1507 Gulf Drive South, Bradenton Beach, FL 34217.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE HAVE BAD WEATHER?
Book with confidence. If we have inclement weather the day you are booked we will do our best to reschedule. If we cannot reschedule your tour we will simply refund the full amount back to the credit card at the time of booking.
WILL WE NEED TO BRING SUNBLOCK?
You will want to bring plenty of lotion based sunblock. Please no spray sunblock on or off the boat. Spray sunblock is harmful to the environment, makes the deck slippery and will ruin our upholstery on board.
WHAT WILL AMI ESCAPES PROVIDE DURING A TOUR?
We will provide plenty of water and clean ice. Boats will have plenty of cooler space, but you are more than welcome to bring your own small cooler. We will also have a first aid kit and all required safety gear required by the United States Coast Guard.
CAN YOU BRING ALCOHOL ON A TOUR?
You are more than welcome to bring alcohol on your tour. Please no glass bottles.
CAN YOU BRING SNACKS AND FOOD?
You are more than welcome to bring snacks and food on your tour, all we ask is that you do not bring any "Cheetos / Doritos" type of snacks. It really makes a mess and is difficult to clean.
CAN WE BRING OUR PETS?
Well behaved pets are welcome on board, but please keep in mind that most of our destinations will not allow pets, so your fury companion will have to stay on the boat.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 72 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
